Acceptance Of Terms

These Terms of Service apply to merchants who install or use SyncMate. By using SyncMate, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use SyncMate.

What SyncMate Does

SyncMate helps Shopify merchants export selected Shopify data to CSV and Excel, write selected Shopify data to Google Sheets, and keep selected Google Sheets updated on a schedule.

SyncMate uses read-only Shopify access. SyncMate does not edit Shopify data.

Shopify Access

You authorize SyncMate to access selected Shopify data through Shopify APIs so the app can provide syncs, history, support, troubleshooting, billing, plan enforcement, and app reliability.

You are responsible for choosing which data types and fields to export or sync.

Google account And Google Sheets

If you connect Google Sheets, you authorize SyncMate to create, write, and update spreadsheets for the export or sync workflows you configure. You are responsible for managing access to your Google account and spreadsheets.

Merchant Responsibilities

You are responsible for:

• Using SyncMate in compliance with applicable laws and Shopify policies.
• Protecting exported CSV and Excel files.
• Managing sharing permissions for Google Sheets.
• Reviewing exported data before relying on it.
• Keeping your Shopify and Google accounts secure.
• Ensuring staff use SyncMate appropriately.

Plans, Billing, And Limits

SyncMate offers Starter, Pro, and Business plans. Billing for paid plans is handled through Shopify. Shopify may process charges, cancellations, and billing approval flows according to Shopify's terms and billing systems.

Plan limits may apply, including row limits, Google Sheets cell limits, history retention, data type access, and saved preset limits. SyncMate may also apply internal operational safety caps that are not billing limits.

Communications

We may contact merchants using contact details associated with their account or provided to us for service messages, onboarding help, product updates, relevant SyncMate or Vallo product information, feedback requests, or user research invitations.

We will not use merchant customer personal data for unrelated marketing. Merchants can opt out of non-essential marketing or research communications by contacting support@sync-mate.com or by using unsubscribe options where available. Service and transactional messages may still be sent.

Acceptable Use

You must not use SyncMate to:

• Violate laws or Shopify policies.
• Access or sync data you are not authorized to access.
• Share synced personal data with unauthorized parties.
• Attempt to bypass plan limits, security controls, or access restrictions.
• Interfere with SyncMate, Shopify, Google, or other services.

Availability And Changes

SyncMate may be unavailable or delayed due to maintenance, service outages, third-party issues, rate limits, Shopify API behavior, Google API behavior, or other events outside our control.

We may update SyncMate or these Terms from time to time. Updated Terms will be posted on this page.

Third-Party Services

SyncMate depends on third-party services, including Shopify and Google. Your use of those services is governed by their own terms and policies.

Disclaimers

SyncMate exports and syncs data from Shopify and related services. We aim to present data accurately, but we do not guarantee that synced or exported data will be complete, current, or error-free in every situation.

You should review syncs before using them for business, finance, legal, tax, or operational decisions.

Limitation Of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, SyncMatewill not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, punitive, or exemplary damages, or for lost profits, lost revenue, lost data, or business interruption.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so this section applies only to the extent permitted by law.

Termination

You may stop using SyncMate or uninstall the app at any time. SyncMate may suspend or terminate access if necessary to address security, legal, abuse, payment, or policy concerns.
